This is a wonderful Mountain Lion fetish by notable Zuni artist, Vern Nieto. The Mountain Lion is guardian of the north and believed to be the most powerful fetish a hunter can possess. Considered the elder brother of all other protective and hunting animals. Carved from Black Marble with turquoise eyes, the Mountain Lion's sleek feline form is also believed to possess characteristics of leadership, courage, assurance, foresight and resourcefulness.  Poised in a stalking position ready to pounce, this fetish measures 4-1/2" long X 1" wide X 1-3/8" high. If your a fetish collector, this is one you definitely want to have.
